From a young age, Dr. Marquez was fascinated by dentistry. During summer vacations, she would shadow her local dentist and help out at the clinic. Her interest in dentistry eventually led her to Meharry Medical College where she earned her DDS. She then went on to complete her General Practice Residency with the VA.
Before opening her own practice here in Naples, Dr. Marquez gained years of valuable experience working in other dental offices. At these larger practices, she was able to treat patients and help them maintain their smiles, but she began to see that people were often treated as numbers rather than being given the proper time and attention they deserved during their visits and treatment.
Now that she has a practice of her own, Dr. Marquez can focus on individualized care, always taking the time to get to know her patients and educating them on their treatment plans. At Altamar Dental Studio, the entire team strives to create an environment where every patient feels like a friend and where communication is prioritized.
Dr. Marquez is passionate about changing lives and she can’t wait to meet you!
